Subject: Great Show!
This was my first Furthur show, and I met the love of my life that night. We've been together ever since... As such, this show has quite a special meaning for me :)

My main man!! This sounds fantastic. That thing sounds great.

you should go around and record all the shows, and take your son with you.

Thanks so much for posting this show. Was my first Furthur show live and brought back such great memories. The crowd, sound and vibe were as close to a Grateful Dead show as you can get. From the guy walkin up to me and askin "do you feel happy" to Bobby and Phil jammin away it was a full on throwback....except for the China Cat-Ramble on Rose. Where did I know you Rider get to??? Actually other than Morning Dew the China Cat was highlite as crowd was goin nuts. Keep the recordings coming as this band can truly pull out any GD tune at any time and is great to hear them once again!!

Great show and great recording. Thanks to all the tapers for all the hard and great work! I would also like to see if anyone can post the 3 remaining shows of the tour not up here yet, 9/18, 20 & 22. All appreciation to you tapers man, it's great to have these shows!

This is a great recording of a great show. Phil was so energetic and his playing is just awesome. The set list is like going back in time to a period before I was seeing the Grateful Dead (I started in 1979) and I really feel like I got to experience some of what I missed before that time - but also I got to experience something entirely new and fresh. Wow. What more can I say except I cannot wait to see more shows. On a side note, I was at the Santa Barbara Bowl the night before and it was also a great show. Does anybody know why there are no recordings of that show? I am wondering if the venue did not allow taping?

Hey Joe!
Great recording man. Thanks for taking the time and sharing it with us. This show is just plain fun to listen to. I saw them in Oregon, rain and all. Those were great, and so is this. For those of us who were touring in the '80s-'90s, to hear a set like this? Words fail me. Don't miss it!

Subject: lot of crowd noise and distortion but decent for the set up
for such a low end set up not too bad. Hope to see a Schoeps + 744t recording pop up soon!

Subject: Rebirth
I was reborn on this night. After so many years, I was back in the blue neon with the magnetic sound of the Dead's music. My initial expectations were mixed, but they knocked me on my ass. Muli Guli is where it all took off for me. The rest was pure fascination. This new lineup is for real, trust me. Can't wait to go again. Renaissance.

Nice pull Wharfratjoe, like the audience mix, feels like I'm there. Haven't heard the entire show but already love the Caution &Unbroken Chain (better than the really good 2-14-10 version). Turned 60 today and been waiting to hear this one.
